Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics)
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Design innovation frameworks for ethical AI development and responsible tech deployment
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate and integrate next-gen startups
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and ROI of innovation initiatives
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing product development cycles
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven 5+ year roadmap delivery
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AGI, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with innovation focus
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (IEEE, HBR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (e.g., TRIZ, Blue Ocean Strategy)
- Track record of scaling technologies from concept to commercialization
