Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for technological disruption
- Architect innovation ecosystems through strategic partnerships and academic collaborations
- Translate technical concepts into actionable business opportunities
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in exponential technology adoption
- Monitor ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong business acumen with P&L responsibility
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
