Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 6-month delivery cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Collaborate with academic partners (MIT, Stanford) on joint innovation projects
- Document and communicate technical vision through executive briefings and whitepapers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough innovations
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D funding
- Presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences at executive level
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, or major conferences)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
