Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (2026-2030) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic frameworks for ethical AI adoption and quantum computing integration
- Coordinate cross-functional R&D initiatives with engineering and product teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (patents/white papers)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech innovation ecosystems
