Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 3-year technology roadmap targeting 2026 breakthrough innovations
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, bio-convergence, Web4.0) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for futuristic solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present technology visions to investors, board members, and industry leaders
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Drive innovation sprints focused on sustainable tech and circular economy models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized AI, or climate tech
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market disruption patterns
- Experience securing $1M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier publications
