Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential through patent analysis, academic research, and startup scouting
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across AI, quantum computing, and climate tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain partnerships with research institutions, venture capital firms, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and implementation strategies to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, thought leadership, and internal R&D initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, or climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with focus on emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of technology convergence patterns and 2026 market projections
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex technology adoption cycles
- Strong network in global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin, etc.)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
