Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, generative AI, and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of researchers, engineers, and domain experts
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Secure $10M+ in venture capital for experimental projects
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and regulatory shifts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in emerging tech with 5+ years in strategic planning
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Proven track record scaling technologies from lab to market
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, federated learning, or synthetic biology
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
- Experience securing SBIR grants or international innovation grants
