Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations and investment opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for next-gen technologies
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to cultivate internal talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong track record of translating complex concepts into actionable business strategies
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing R&D pipelines
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry forums
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to inspire diverse stakeholders
