Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum AI and biocomputing
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ impact
- Architect governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with focus on emerging fields
- Proven track record in commercializing cutting-edge innovations
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI ethics, carbon-neutral tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Fluency in scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ industry-transforming initiatives
