You'll work in our state-of-the-art San Francisco hub, collaborating with Nobel laureates, quantum computing pioneers, and AI ethics experts. Our team operates on a 4-day work week with unlimited R&D budgets and equity grants for groundbreaking contributions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 across quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, and climate-positive tech
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers and researchers to prototype next-gen systems
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through federal grants and industry partnerships
- Author white papers and patents for breakthrough innovations with 10+ citations
- Advise C-suite on technological disruption risks and opportunities
- Mentor emerging talent through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum or AI topics
- Track record of scaling tech initiatives from prototype to commercial deployment
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Experience securing SBIR/STTR grants or equivalent funding mechanisms
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages
