Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market evolution
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, carbon-negative AI)
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (Web4.0, synthetic biology, decentralized networks) for competitive advantage
- Secure $15M+ R&D funding through visionary proposals to venture capitalists and government agencies
- Establish industry partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and EU Horizon Europe initiatives
- Present annual technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Mentor a 20-person innovation lab in rapid prototyping and ethical tech deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech products with $50M+ ARR impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate AI
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing government grants (DARPA, NSF) and corporate innovation partnerships
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to C-level stakeholders
