- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives spanning hardware, software, and bio-inspired computing
- Forge industry partnerships with academic institutions and global tech leaders
- Secure and manage $50M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology adoption
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor 15+ engineers and researchers in emerging technology domains
- Develop patent portfolios for proprietary 2026-era technologies
Qualifications
- PhD or MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 10+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record scaling quantum/AI initiatives beyond POC to commercial deployment
- Expertise in hardware-software co-design for next-gen computing architectures
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (DARPA, NSF, CHIPS Act)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent tier
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech standards
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
