Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption trends
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech paradigms (quantum, bio-computing, ambient AI)
- Translate future-vision concepts into viable product roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation plans
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and responsible innovation
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board members securing $50M+ innovation budgets
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and acquire transformative startups
- Develop KPIs measuring technological readiness and market adoption for 2026 initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI frameworks, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership on future trends (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent)
- Experience securing >$30M R&D budgets for innovation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism
- Track record of mentoring CTOs and innovation directors
- Deep understanding of ethical tech governance frameworks (EU AI Act, IEEE 7000)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ technology commercialization case studies
