Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, quantum algorithms, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year adoption potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other innovation hubs
- Manage $5M annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on emerging tech adoption
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing and biotech convergence
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
