Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Technology Vision: Define and execute the long-term technology strategy for the organization, focusing on emerging trends expected to dominate the 2026 landscape.
- Emerging Tech Research: Conduct deep-dive R&D into emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Sustainable Tech to identify viable use cases.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Collaborate with C-Suite executives and engineering leads to create detailed technology roadmaps that align with business objectives.
- Innovation Labs: Establish and manage an internal innovation lab to prototype and validate new technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global technology trends and competitor activities to ensure Apex Innovations maintains a competitive edge.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Partnership Management: Identify and evaluate potential partnerships with startups and research institutions focused on 2026-forward technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or R&D leadership.
- Tech Acumen: Deep understanding of emerging technologies expected to mature by 2026, including AI/ML, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of defining successful technology roadmaps and driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical strategies to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems through technology.
- Certifications: PMP, TOGAF, or similar strategic architecture certifications are a plus.
