Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech giants
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and market disruptions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage a $50M+ innovation budget and oversee cross-functional project teams
- Champion ethical AI development and responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research communities
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
