Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives, aligning with company vision and market trends
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate technological risks and ethical implications of future tech deployments
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to drive innovation
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory developments affecting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
