Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech (quantum, biotech, AGI) and assess commercial viability
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems and automation protocols
- Partner with R&D to prototype future solutions in our Silicon Valley innovation lab
- Present strategic futures to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Build competitive intelligence on global tech initiatives (US/EU/Asia)
- Lead scenario planning for technological disruption events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption curves
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Strong network of tech innovators and academic researchers
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on technological transformation
- Fluency in futures research tools (Delphi, SWOT, STEEPLE)
