Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, blockchain, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional pods of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Identify emerging tech threats and opportunities through competitive intelligence and patent analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact models
- Forge partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and other innovation accelerators
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Drive quarterly innovation sprints with measurable KPIs for market disruption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, or synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching products that achieved $50M+ ARR
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston Futures Studies program)
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal preferred
- Experience with agile transformation at enterprise scale
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology foresight projects implemented
