Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging tech (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Architect innovation frameworks for next-gen product ecosystems
- Partner with VCs and research institutions to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic vision to executive board and investors
- Manage portfolio of moonshot projects with $1M+ budgets
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles (CTO/VP level preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Published thought leadership on future trends (White papers/TED talks)
- Successful track record of launching disruptive products
- MSc/PhD in relevant field or equivalent innovation portfolio
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
