Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026 product launches
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, neuromorphic computing)
- Develop strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board members
- Manage $5M annual R&D budget with 20% innovation allocation
- Mentor PhD candidates in our Future Tech Fellowship Program
- Secure 3+ patents annually in emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in tech strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startup
- Published research in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech verticals
- Proven track record of scaling R&D teams from 5 to 50+
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Speaking experience at re:Invent, CES, or Web Summit
