Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, spatial web)
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Champion innovation labs exploring next-gen applications in decentralized systems and synthetic biology
- Partner with VPs of Engineering and Product to integrate future tech into core offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven impact assessments
- Build global ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Lead organizational transformation initiatives to prepare for 2026 technological paradigm shifts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum, AGI, spatial computing, or biotech
- Proven track record of executing multi-year innovation initiatives with measurable ROI
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, Wired)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global markets
