Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neuromorphic AI, etc.)
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies with commercial potential
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation through agile sprints and rapid prototyping cycles
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $50M annually
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with federal/state innovation grant programs
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight methodologies
