Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for emerging fields (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with potential 10x industry impact
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-backed recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for collaborative innovation
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental thinking
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Strong financial modeling skills for ROI analysis of speculative technologies
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with agile development methodologies for high-uncertainty projects
