Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year adoption potential
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech leaders
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for 2026 initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record forecasting and implementing 5+ year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or neurotech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Published research in IEEE/Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing $5M+ R&D budgets and managing global innovation teams
- Deep understanding of ethical implications and regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
