Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligned with company vision and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching, prototyping, and implementing emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present innovation roadmaps and ROI projections to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage a $15M+ innovation budget with rigorous KPI tracking and reporting
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future tech integration methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services with measurable market impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI/ML, advanced robotics, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (Nature, IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience scaling innovation teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in technology forecasting frameworks
