Responsibilities

- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging technologies and patent landscapes
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for future-focused initiatives
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and global tech leaders
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling technologies from concept to market (3+ year cycles)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI and cost-benefit analysis
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
