Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and global research consortia
- Anticipate geopolitical and ethical implications of technological advancements
- Mentor next-gen talent in future-focused skill development
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- 7+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two frontier tech domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $10M+ market impact
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier publications
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight methodology certification
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
