- Architect and execute 2026+ technology strategy aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, bio-integrated systems) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks for future tech landscapes
- Partner with C-suite to secure R&D funding and board-level buy-in
- Establish strategic alliances with academic institutions and government labs
- Author thought leadership on technological disruption and future-proofing
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record launching technologies with 3+ year market impact horizons
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Exceptional analytical frameworks for forecasting tech adoption curves
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or technology valuation
