Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for emerging tech challenges
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, biotech) for commercial viability
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members securing $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Establish partnerships with NASA, MIT, and global research institutions
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
- Produce annual 'State of 2026 Tech' whitepapers read by Fortune 500 executives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching products with 7-figure+ revenue from emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI ethics
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-tech implementations with measurable impact
