Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with corporate vision and market disruption goals
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) for commercial viability and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with ROI projections, risk assessments, and implementation roadmaps
- Build and manage an external innovation ecosystem through partnerships with startups, universities, and research institutions
- Drive sustainability initiatives by integrating green tech principles into all technology roadmaps
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of radical innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or emerging tech leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services with $50M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience advising C-suite and boards on technology transformation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent technical certification
- Strong analytical framework for technology forecasting and competitive landscape analysis
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $10M and cross-functional teams of 20+
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
