The Role
You will lead a high-performance team of engineers and data scientists, designing robust systems capable of handling massive data loads and complex neural networks. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our core AI platforms, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and scalable for the demands of the coming decade.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the development of scalable AI/ML infrastructure and cloud-native solutions.
- Strategic Roadmap: Define the technical vision and roadmap for future tech initiatives, aligning with business goals for the 2026 horizon.
- Team Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of innovation, conducting code reviews, technical architecture discussions, and mentorship for junior developers.
- Pipeline Optimization: Streamline data pipelines and model training processes to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into user-centric products.
- Security & Ethics: Ensure all AI systems adhere to strict data privacy regulations and ethical AI guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role or senior architecture position.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar deep learning frameworks. Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage distributed teams and drive projects from conception to deployment.
- Innovation Mindset: Deep understanding of emerging technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and edge computing.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
