Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with company vision and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Collaborate with R&D on quantum computing, AI governance frameworks, and sustainable infrastructure
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Mentor junior engineers in forward-thinking development methodologies
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term innovation impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech leadership with 5+ years in strategic planning or futurism
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Experience developing 5-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Strong track record in scaling innovative projects from concept to market
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futuristic concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
