- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget across 3-4 concurrent projects
- Build and mentor a high-performance team of futurists and technical architects
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and startups for bleeding-edge research
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing R&D budgets >$3M
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or major conferences
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 50+ professionals
