Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define the long-term technical roadmap for Horizon Systems, specifically targeting innovations relevant to the 2026 era.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a high-performance team in researching and prototyping emerging technologies such as quantum-assisted computing and edge AI.
- Architecture Design: Design scalable, secure, and sustainable software architectures that can handle the complexity of future data landscapes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and investors.
- Patent & IP: Spearhead initiatives to secure intellectual property rights for groundbreaking technologies.
- Future Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor global tech trends to ensure Horizon Systems remains ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architecture role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust; familiarity with Web3 and distributed ledger technologies is a plus.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to pivot and adapt technology strategies in response to evolving market needs.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to C-suite executives.
- Innovation: A demonstrated track record of driving innovation and implementing disruptive technologies.
