- Location: San Francisco, CA (On-site/Hybrid)
- Compensation: $180k - $250k + Equity
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strategic Planning: Define the technical vision and roadmap, aligning engineering capabilities with business objectives.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- System Optimization: Oversee performance tuning, cost management, and reliability improvements for critical systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to industry standards for data security and privacy compliance (GDPR, SOC2).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Cloud Proficiency: Proven track record deploying and managing applications on major cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Programming: Strong proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
