Responsibilities
- Design and implement the architectural blueprint for Zai Corp's 2026 infrastructure roadmap, focusing on hybrid Quantum-Classical systems.
- Lead the integration of Generative AI models into core enterprise applications to enhance scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Security, Product) to define technical standards and best practices.
- Ensure system resilience, fault tolerance, and high availability in distributed cloud environments.
- Conduct research and proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies including Edge Computing and Neural Interfaces.
- Mentor senior engineers and guide technical strategy for the engineering department.
- Drive security-first methodologies to protect sensitive data streams in future-proof architectures.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and containerization technologies (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Experience with Quantum Computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq) and AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and zero-trust architectures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in fast-paced, startup-like environments.
