Responsibilities
- Design quantum-secure communication networks for interplanetary missions
- Develop AI-driven autonomous resource management systems for off-world habitats
- Lead integration of sustainable propulsion technologies with zero-emission standards
- Create fail-safe redundancy protocols for long-duration space habitats
- Collaborate with NASA and ESA on 2026 mission infrastructure blueprints
- Mentor junior engineers in emerging space architecture methodologies
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in systems architecture with aerospace/defense experience
- Expertise in quantum-resistant cryptography and distributed ledger systems
- PhD in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with published research
- Proficiency in modeling/simulation tools (ANSYS, Simulink, MATLAB)
- Deep understanding of ISO 21348 and space radiation hardening standards
- Track record of delivering projects with $50M+ budgets
- Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Fluency in Python, C++, and Rust for embedded systems
