We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Full-Time Bookkeeper to manage the financial health of our diverse portfolio of clients. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing insights that drive business decisions. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and variance analysis to maintain fiscal integrity.
- Prepare and issue monthly financial statements (Balance Sheets, P&Ls) for client review.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax packages, including 1099s and W-2s.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and fixed asset schedules.
- Process payroll and ensure all payroll tax filings are completed accurately.
- Assist with audit preparations and supporting documentation requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, preferably within a CPA firm or corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Pro and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Familiarity with Xero or other cloud-based accounting software is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies in financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
