Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for commercial and consumer lending portfolios
- Monitor existing credit exposures and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (Regulation B, Fair Credit Reporting Act)
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure competitive credit solutions
- Develop and maintain robust credit risk models and scoring systems
- Present credit analyses to credit committees with clear, actionable insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling and data visualization
- Strong understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with KYC/AML compliance procedures
- Credit certification (CRCM or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and decision-making abilities
