Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are accurate and timely.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, trial balances, and tax documents.
- Utilize QuickBooks and Xero to maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures efficiently.
- Communicate with clients regarding financial inquiries and statements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, VBA preferred).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
