Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for client portfolios
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for diverse business clients
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures with meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client decision-making
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and Ohio tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly valued
- Excellent communication skills for client relationship management
