Responsibilities
- Process 50+ daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
- Resolve account discrepancies with precision and maintain 99.8% transaction accuracy
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Balance cash drawer and reconcile end-of-day reports
- Train new tellers on banking protocols and compliance standards
- Implement fraud detection procedures for all transactions
- Coordinate with commercial banking team for complex client needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cash handling experience in retail or banking
- Proficiency in banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Jack Henry)
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 certification preferred
- California Notary Public certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Proven ability to maintain composure during peak transaction volumes
- Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred
- Excellent bilingual skills in English and Spanish required
