Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations (Form 941, W-2s, unemployment filings)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and employee time-off balances in HRIS system
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with general ledger
- Support year-end processes including 1099/W-2 distribution and 401(k) reconciliations
- Train clients on payroll self-service portals and troubleshooting
- Implement process improvements using Excel macros and Power BI dashboards
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance knowledge
- ADP certification or equivalent HCM system proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong understanding of FLSA, ACA, and Texas labor laws
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a flexible hybrid environment
