Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budget & Forecasting: Lead the budget preparation process and develop long-term financial forecasts to support organizational growth and strategic planning.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actuals and budgets, providing clear explanations and recommendations for corrective action.
- Modeling: Build complex financial models to simulate business scenarios, assess project viability, and support major capital investment decisions.
- Process Improvement: Streamline financial reporting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with department heads and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive operational decisions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA designation is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related areas.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg, Quicken). Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is highly preferred.
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly and persuasively.
