Responsibilities
- Perform detailed variance analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain accurate financial models and forecasts to support budgeting and long-term strategic planning.
- Prepare comprehensive presentations for executive leadership, summarizing complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of new business initiatives and product launches.
- Streamline financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to provide context for financial performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, cost accounting, and financial modeling best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.
