Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership
- Develop detailed financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and ROI scenarios
- Collaborate with department heads to create annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Identify cost optimization opportunities through variance analysis and trend monitoring
- Support M&A activities through due diligence and valuation assessments
- Automate financial reporting processes using advanced Excel functions and BI tools
- Present financial findings to stakeholders with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Power Query) and financial modeling
- Strong SQL/Python skills for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex data for non-finance audiences
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and driving efficiency
