We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our growing team in Dallas, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity for a driven professional who excels in data analysis, strategic planning, and financial reporting.
As a Financial Analyst at Apex Financial Solutions, you will play a critical role in providing actionable insights to drive business growth. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop budgets, forecast financial performance, and analyze market trends to support key strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and capital budgeting.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and track variances against targets to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and recommend financial strategies.
- Present findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide deep-dive analysis on significant variances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros, and financial formulas).
- Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification (CPA, CFA, CMA) is a plus but not required.
