Responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to inform strategic business decisions
- Develop comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budget reports for executive leadership
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with executive summaries
- Lead ad-hoc financial projects including M&A due diligence and investment analysis
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in energy or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting software (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong quantitative skills with experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data to stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and GAAP standards
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) highly desirable
