Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic planning.
- Variance Analysis: Perform in-depth variance analysis between actuals and budgets, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions to management.
- Reporting: Prepare and present clear, actionable monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Cost Management: Assist in the analysis of cost centers and contribute to cost-saving initiatives across the organization.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing) to understand business drivers and provide relevant financial insights.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with financial reporting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
- SQL Knowledge: Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business narratives.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
